The hole inside of my heart
And the space between us
Only keeps getting bigger
Forgot your address again
So I drove in circles
Been running on empty for so long
I can remember your laugh
But it’s been awhile
Since anyone felt funny
These things take time they say…
Tired of feeling raw and reckless
Memories fade to darkness
No one can tell me how to grieve
When you’ve got no one left to turn to
You can run away with me, babe
Just don’t forget to breathe
Yesterday will pass us by
And so will tomorrow
I’ve got no tears left to cry
Sick of hearing bad news
Because I’m already broken
Unraveling at the seams
It’s easy to let the past
Haunt you in the present
Don’t have to live here anymore
These things take time they say…
Tired of feeling raw and reckless
Memories fade to darkness
No one can tell me how to grieve
When you’ve got no one left to turn to
You can run away with me, babe
Just don’t forget to breathe
Don’t forget
How to breathe
Don’t forget how to breathe
Don’t forget
How to breathe
Don’t forget how to breathe
Tired of feeling raw and reckless
Memories fade to darkness
No one can tell me how to grieve
When you’ve got no one left to turn to
You can run away with me, babe
Just don’t forget to breathe

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
